The Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver offers a four year Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in audio production.  We believe that accomplished musicians make the best recording engineers and producers.  In our program you will take lessons on your instrument, learn music theory and history (either classical or jazz/commercial), and learn the art of engineering and producing great sounding music recordings.  Audio production students at Lamont are trained as engineers and producers in the classical, jazz, and commercial/popular genres.  This program is especially well suited for students who write and perform their own music.
