Just for students:

Hi. Selected students have special privileges at Mt.Evans Observatory.
If you are a DENVER UNIVERSITY STUDENT, consider enrolling in one or more
of our astronomy classes. All courses have access to Chamberlin Obs
near main campus, while the 2000 level and higher include access to
Mt.Evans.

If you are a COLLEGE STUDENT but not at DU, we invite you to work with
your faculty sponsor in Physics, Astronomy or Engineering at your school to
submit a research proposal for use of the Mt.Evans telescopes. Details
can be found elsewhere on our web pages. Sorry, tours are not available.
Mt.Evans Obs receives no tax money, and is not open to the public due to
liability/insurance issues. However, we offer lots of public astronomy
programs at our Chamberlin observatory near campus in Denver (303-871-5172).

If you are a HIGH SCHOOL student, we invite you to join the DENVER
ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY or a similar astronomy club in your area. Active
members who show participation and contribute to group causes will be
considered for access to the DU observatories.

Best wishes for your academic success.
