3. A patron is looking for the doctoral dissertation by Hisatsugu Kitahara. Using only freely available resources, find the catalog record from the institution where the degree was granted - and, of course, paste that record as your answer and give the name of the institution..

4. You receive a request from a student doing research on Antarctica and the North Pole area. She would like you to provide here with a list of bibliographic databases (databases that provide access to papers, articles, books, etc.) on the topic. Be sure that the resources are freely accessible (no money involved).

5. All the patron has is the annotation from a bibliographic citation. It was found from a freely available database on Latin American Studies. Please find the full citation for her. Note: you must provide the citation from the database itself, not from any other source.

6. This Wall Street Journal article is reproduced in a congressional hearing. a) Find this federal hearing using FDsys. Provide the URL and provide a direct URL. b) Could you find this hearing using search engines alone? c) Is FDsys exposed to the indexable Web?

7. Find a Web site that is not indexed by a search engine (a "hidden Internet" site), and show your diagnostic tests that provide it is not indexed by search engines. The site cannot be a library online catalog or a site already discussed in class or given in an assignment.

8 . Write a paragraph or two on the "hidden Internet". Explain what it is and its value to research.
