Violinist
Daniel Sharon is a violinist currently working on his bachelor of music
with an emphasis in violin performance at the University of Denver. There,
he performs in all sorts of musical ensembles including but by no means
limited to the prestigious Lamont Symphony Orchestra, a chamber quartet,
and various other collaborations with his colleagues. Dan studies
privately with the renowned solo violinist Linda Wang.
Daniel began studying the violin in Denver at the age of five. Since, he
has moved to Loveland, Colorado and has made leaps in his progress. Dan
has risen up among his peers as a competent and sympathetic player,
serving as the concertmaster for his school orchestra and of the Rocky
Mountain Youth Orchestra (Now the Youth Orchestra of the Rockies). He has
also participated extensively in the UNC Weekend for Strings in Greeley
and the All State Orchestra in CU, Boulder.
In
addition to being an amazing violinist, Dan considers himself a moderate
player of the acoustic guitar and enjoys and appreciates a wide variety of
music. |
