SciFinder Scholar 2007 Information

1. Log into the DU Portfolio site. (Once you have logged in, click back so you can then go to step 2.)
2. Go to the SFS Portfolio webpage.      
3. Get the Software. (about a 12 MB self-extracting executable - sfs2007.zip). This is the PC version.
   • Extract sfs2007.exe and the other files to a temporary directory.
   • Run sfs2007.exe.  Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
     • If you have a previous version of SFS, place the software as the same directory as the previous version, usually "c:\sfschlr".
   • Save the site.prf file (site preferences) into the c:\sfschlr directory (or whatever directory your previous software was loaded into.)

4. Look at the CAS Webpage about SciFinder Scholar.
5. Go to the American Chemical Society Website.
6. Read our license agreement.
7. Contact Joe Kraus if you need the Mac version of the software.
