Kellie B. Keeling is an Assistant Professor of Department of Business Information & Analytics.
She received the Ph.D. in Management Science from the University of North
Texas and the M.B.A. and B.S. in Mathematics from Wayland Baptist
University. Her research interests include data mining, software accuracy and computer simulation. She has recently
published in Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, Computers & OR, Communications in
Statistics, and Multivariate Behavioral Research. Dr. Keeling is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute
(DSI), the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) and the Southeast Decision Sciences
Institute (SEDSI). She has served as VP Member Services, VP Student Liaison, and Secretary for SEDSI.
Before joining the faculty at the University of Denver, Dr. Keeling served on the faculties
of Virginia Tech and Texas Christian University. Dr. Keeling has received the R. B. Pamplin College of Business
Certificate of Teaching Excellence and the Virginia Tech University Certificate of Teaching Excellence. She is also
co-author of two textbooks: Concise Managerial Statistics and Introduction
to Business Statistics.
