The following are true accounts:

• The Digging in the Creekbed , (4K) my personal ghost? story. Somebody kept digging in the creekbed in the middle of the night. But nobody was there...
• The Glowing Red Demon Eyes , (4K) my personal not-ghost story. There's nothing quite like going out on the porch at night, and seeing a pair of glowing red eyes staring at you through the window...
• Pumpkinhead , (5K) a former boss's ghost story. You never know what you might find if you go checking out old, abandoned buildings at night...
• Squire Williamsons' Ghost , (7K) A neighbors ghost story. The ghost of the man who built our house apparently didn't want to share the house with us. So he took up residence in the neighbor's barn...

Contributor's Stories:

• Have a true story and nowhere to put it? I will host, for free, true ghost stories and "it wasn't a ghost after all" type stories, space permitting, provided they are reasonably well written. And I apply that standard quite loosely - all I ask for good enough grammer, spelling, and logical progression that people can actually understand what you're saying. But please do make an effort to write your stories as well and as entertainingly as you can. If you decide to send me your personal ghost story/stories, please also give me the following information:
  1. Whether or not you want your story added to this page - I will not add a story unless specifically given permission.
  2. Whether or not you wish me to include an e-mail link to you. If you do, please remember to keep me informed if your address changes.
  3. What to include for a copyright notice - a) date and your name, b) date and "by the author", if you wish to remain anonymous, c) date and "released to the public domain" by either your name or "by the author" (if you wish to remain anonymous.
  I will NOT incude a story UNTIL I have this information , as I want to make sure I do not violate anyone's trust.

• Please also tell me if you have, or would like me to post your story to the alt.folklore.ghost-stories newsgroup. If you would like me to post your story, please include the information requested above (i.e., copyright notice, by-line requested, etc.). Again, I will not post your story without your specific permission. Upon posting, I will e-mail you that I have done so, so that you may follow the responses if you wish.
