Technology and Culture

Although the main focus of this website is on technical elements of blogfa and blogger, we should remember that technical and social-cultural issues are never seperated. In fact, technology is useful for a society when it considers the society and culture. If we offer a technology without knowing our audiences, we will hardly can see the right and smart use of it. It is what we call "Modernization" and not "Modernity". We might offer the best and highest technology, but if the society is not ready to percieve and use what we are providing, there will not be any benefit from offering it. As the result, when we are proividing any technology for people , we should have a right undestanding about our audience needs, cultures and abilities.

This brief technical analysis of blogger and blogfa shows the similarities and differences that these two weblogs have in offreing services for blog creating. Though they have the same goals and desires to give the best blog creating services to their users, they have established for different audiences. As blogger considers Persian people as its dominant user, it tries to provide all the services in a way which be easy and suitable for Iranian people. In previous pages I pointed out the complixity of blogger in some of its services and how blofga uses more simple instruction for blog's creating. Thus, each of these weblogs are providing suitable services for their users. This is probably the main reason of being so popular in their regions.
