Born in Waverly, Iowa, Molly Arns began her music career, studying violin. At the age of 10 a music teacher influenced Molly to begin studying harp with Mr. Gaylord Stauffer. She is currently completing her B.Mus. in harp performance at the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music under the direction of Dr. Suzanne Moulton-Gertig.
Arns made her orchestral debut as principal harpist at the Iowa High School All-State Music Festival performing Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol. She was also the featured soloist at the Dorian Orchestra Festival, Luther College, performing Debussy’s Danses Sacrée et Profane.
She is currently performing with the Lamont Symphony Orchestra, Lamont Wind Ensemble, and the Lamont Harp Ensemble, as well as continuing her solo career.
