Pallab
Paul is a Professor of Marketing in the Daniels College of Business at the
University of Denver. He is also the Director of the International Living and
Learning Community Program in the University. Recognized for his excellence in
research, teaching and service, Dr. Paul won multiple awards. These include
the highest award of the University of Denver (William T. Driscoll Master
Educator Award) in 2009 and the highest award of Daniels College of
Business (Daniels Outstanding Faculty Award for Excellence - Professor of
the Year) in 1997-98.
Dr.
Pallab Paul's current teaching interest lies primarily in the area of International
Marketing/Branding and International Business. He also teaches Marketing
on the Internet & e-Commerce, Marketing Research, Marketing
Strategy, Marketing Management and Promotional Strategy. He
is a true team player in the College, teaching in all possible programs
(including Executive/Professional education, traditional and nontraditional MBA
and undergraduate programs).
Dr.
Paul's research interest embraced the field of judgment and decision making in
marketing, in particular in the "international" context. Thus his research
publications focus on marketing managers', consumers' and marketing educators'
decision making process and outcomes across country boundaries. His research
publications appeared in the following top-rated journals: Journal of
Business Ethics, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal
of International Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of
Advertising, Business Ethics - A European Review, The American Journal
of Psychology, Journal of Consumer Marketing, and Journal of
Marketing Education.
Pallab
Paul, a Fulbright Award-recipient, is a globally respected scholar and has
delivered seminars, workshops, and keynote addresses in more than two dozen
countries. Additionally, he has worked with industry executives as a
consultant, helping them formulate effective marketing strategies. A native of
India, currently living in the U.S.A., Dr. Paul brings in a very wide range of
marketing perspectives because of his international exposure. He received his
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Calcutta University and Ph.D. in Business
Administration (Marketing) from the University of Arizona. |
