The MEYER-WOMBLE OBSERVATORY UPGRADES PROGRAM:

Objectives:
(1) telescope performance upgrades;
(2) instrumentation performance upgrades;
(3) remote operations upgrades to expand use during more of the year, and
(4) outreach enhancements.

Programs of the past few summer seasons:

2012 - following discovery of winter 2011/2012 dome destruction, a review of all systems is underway - including a new dome, revised telescope control systems, operational modes and science and academic objectives.

2010 - summer daytime monitoring of the epsilon Aurigae eclipse in J&H photometric bands

2009 - summer daytime monitoring of the epsilon Aurigae eclipse in J&H photometric bands

2008 - grad student training in spectroscopy with LHIRES & ST10.
