Brief bio: I grew up in Calabasas, California, which is home to several retired movie stars, current L.A. Dodgers, Alyssa Milano, and Incubus. I attended U.C. Berkeley as an undergraduate, where I developed a love for giant universities with long lines. I then moved to Washington, D.C., and worked as a letter writer in the White House. There, I had the rare opportunity to serve as an Easter Bunny. I met my wife
in D.C. and we moved back to California. I got my Ph.D. from UCLA and found employment here at DU, the alma mater of Condoleeza Rice and Sinbad. We now have two
kids, Eli (7) and Sadie (4). I am a founding member of the Klugies. I enjoy baking cookies
and making ice cream. I don't really have much spare time, but if I
did, I'd probably spend it arguing about politics and watching sci-fi, so
it's no major loss. |
