To maximize class time, please do the following:
1) prepare 8-10 short video clips formatted in one of three ways for Resolume, listed here in order of Resolume preference:
- QuickTime .mov (DXV codec: http://resolume.com/software/ -- this page has a link to the codec that you can download and install on your own computer.)
- QuickTime .mov (PhotoJPEG)
- .avi (PhotoJPEG)

Video settings to check before exporting your clips:
Resolution: minimum of 640x480
Use square pixels. Do not interlace. Render every frame as a key frame.
(These settings apply only if you are rendering with PhotoJPEG; DXV incorporates these settings by default.)
Finally, render these video clips WITHOUT AUDIO.

2) bring audio content that you will mix to. If you already know how to do this next step, I recommend that you:
- create a continuous mix of your audio selections in Audition, Audacity, or similar.
- output your mix as one uncompressed .wav file or one high resolution MP3 (256 or 320 prefered)
(If that doesn't make sense, just bring in your audio material as MP3 files and we'll work with that. In any case, I recommend that you bring close to an hour's worth of audio content to mix video to.)
