Xin Fan

Xin Fan is an assistant Professor in Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Denver. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2004. After that, he went to the University of Delaware to pursue his PhD degree in Prof. John Q. Xiao's group, where he studied magnetic dynamics in various nanostructures. After graduation in 2010, he stayed as a postdoc and worked on spin-orbit interaction-related phenomena in magnetic films. In the fall of 2014, he moved to University of Denver and started his career teaching and researching in the area of magnetism.
