Book Hooks Exhibit

  I helped to create and curate an exhibit on "hooking" children into reading for the University of Denver's Penrose Library. I did it as an independent study with two Anthropology Museum Studies' students.

  Part of the exhibit was on Lucile Hatch, a children's librarian and professor at the DU's Library school. I had processed her collection and had created a web based collection guide for her materials, including some wonderful Steiff puppets. Because I was familiar with the collection I could add to the exhibit process even though I had never done an exhibit before.
