presentation do you believe is most important for creating a successful
blended learning course?
Assignment
1: Team Project - Web-based Pedagogical Strategies
Add two
additional web-based strategies to Gagnes's Nine Events of Instruction
and AAHE's Seven Principles of Good Practice table that would apply
to online distance learning.. Make sure to include the event and the
Web-based strategy you would incorporate. Create a web-based strategy
for each of the ADEC Guiding Principles for Distance Teaching and Learning.
Post your strategies to your team's folder in the Discussion Forum entitled
"ID Principles."

We will be discussing information from Dick's presentation in the discussion

Assignment 3:
Instructional Designer Q & A
Paul Novak,
senior instructional designer, will participate in our class as a virtual
guest speaker. Paul will be available to answer your questions about
instructional design issues in the discussion forum entitled "Novak
Q&A." Paul teaches Instructional Design in the Telecommunications
program at the University of Denver. Paul will check in to the Guest
Speaker forum to answer your questions about instructional design for
distance learning between June 22 and June 25th.

Novak - Brief Bio
Paul
Novak received his M.A., University of Northern Colorado. He has
used instructional design techniques to create educational experiences
in both academic and corporate settings. He has developed face-to-face
classes as well as computer and web based training incorporating
a wide range of learning strategies for technical and non-technical
subject matter. He is currently employed as a Senior Instructional
Designer for University College.
