Measurement facilities available in the Zink lab include multiple
sample-in-vacuum LN2 cryostats, a commercial 7 Tesla
fully-automated SQUID Magnetometer, a 3He refrigerator with
custom high-efficiency helium dewar, a closed-cycle 5 K He system, and an
adiabatic demagnetization (ADR) cryostat. We conduct experiments from 50 mK
to 475 K, and with the help of several electromagnets including a 7 Tesla
superconducting split-pair, in various applied magnetic fields.
Supporting electronics include nanovoltmeters, source-measure units, lock-in
amplifiers and spectrum analyzers.
