The Plough Boy Anthology:

19th Century American Whaling

      To help tell the story of early nineteenth century whaling and to provide background and detail to Lewis Monto's two journals, either full text or selections from books and periodicals from this period are linked from this page. "The Ploughboy Anthology" will be used to identify this collection.
